CNS Business Resumption Plan

Communication and Network Services (CNS) developed a business resumption plan in an effort to identify and plan for major events that could disrupt the campus communications network and threaten the mission of UC Berkeley. The plan presents possibilities to mitigate or avoid risks, as well as options to manage event response. A review of the plan will be conducted annually to disclose vulnerabilities and further improve the proficiency of CNS to effectively and efficiently restore campus communications.

A draft version of the plan can be viewed by selecting the link below. An official version of the plan will be posted to the Business Resumption Office website in the summer of 2006.
