IST Department Operations Center

The IST Department Operations Center (DOC), is an integral part of the Campus Disaster Response Plan. IST is one of the nine essential response departments. In the event of an emergency, the IST DOC may be asked to activate and coordinate the campus network and emergency communications infrastructure. The IST DOC may also activate independently, in response to localized events that require extraordinary attention such as Internet failure or attack on the campus network.
